LTC Life Safety Code and Emergency Preparedness Regulatory Review
Wednesday, October 23, 2024, 1:00 PM - 4:15 PM CDT
Category: Events

Life Safety Code (LSC) surveys are included in the figuring of the overall health inspection scores in a nursing home’s 5-star quality rating, which means compliance is crucial to maintaining higher 5-star ratings. In addition, providers that have not passed a LSC revisit had enforcement action (including denial of payment for new admissions) against their nursing home. The LTC Life Safety Code and Emergency Preparedness Regulatory Review will provide educational content aimed at assisting nursing home environmental and maintenance managers as well as administrators in understanding compliance requirements. During this virtual education, attendees will gain knowledge of LSC and Emergency Preparedness regulations and will receive tools to aid in quality assurance and compliance to reduce LSC and Emergency Preparedness deficiencies.
