Wednesday, April 26, 2023, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM CDT
Category: Events

Beginning April 2023, all Home and Community Based Waiver and Traumatic Brain Injury Waiver Providers in Nebraska are required to participate in the state mandated incident reporting process. The Critical Incident reporting process requires HCBS/TBI providers to report specific incidents to the Service Coordinator for the participant or resident.  Providers need to what to report, how to report and understand the expected response for incidents in the Critical Incident categories. HCBS/TBI Providers will also be provided access to the Therap Services reporting system to review incidents that are completed by the Services Coordinator. It will be vital for the HCBS provider to understand how to access and follow up on incident reports in this system to prevent further actions.
