Assisted Living Survey Preparation Webinar

Nebraska DHHS is increasing surveys in Assisted Living providers. Many of these surveys begin as complaint investigations and turn into full-scale surveys. Because these surveys have not been completed in many years, surveys are resulting in multiple deficiencies. This presentation will provide an overview of common citations among Assisted Living providers and areas to watch for improvement. The presentation will cover:

• Employee related requirements
• Medication Administration & Direction and Monitoring
• Complex Nursing Interventions
• Resident Rights and Satisfaction
• Investigations and Incident Reporting
• Environmental, building maintenance and Laundry
• Food Services
• Resident Service Agreements
• Emergency Preparedness

Information and updates will be provided by LeadingAge Nebraska based on state regulations. This presentation is free for members and open to non-member organizations. Registration is valid for entire community - connection information may be shared internally for all staff.
